How to Insert an Image into a Post
Images cannot be uploaded directly to the ArtParlor Forum from your computer. You must first upload your images to an outside image hosting site (such as flickr.com, photobucket.com, or servimg.com). Once you've uploaded an image, the image hosting site will give you a unique URL specific to that image that you can then use in the ArtParlor Forum. You can also use URLs for images that already appear on other sites (ones you found through a Google image search, for example.)
The ArtParlor Forum has a handy tool to do all of this image-hosting-stuff for you if you don't feel the need to open a personal account with access to your images. Click the "Host an Image" icon in the toolbar above the message box where you would type the body of your post. Browse for the image on your computer and click "Host it." A new box will appear with 3 textfields, the last being the URL that you need in order to insert your image. Copy this URL and click the "Host an image" icon in the toolbar again to get rid of the dialog box.
Next, click the "Image" icon in the toolbar and paste the URL into the link textfield and hit "Ok." A string of code surrounded by an [img] tag will appear in the message box. You can copy and paste this code anywhere within your message to have your image appear at the top of the message, the bottom of the message, or somewhere in the middle.
